It was H-O-T when I shot Jeff and Angela's engagement session, and guess what? It got even hotter because there are some serious sparks with this couple. They plan to wed in October (a little cooler, I hope!). Here are a few of my favorites from their session. I'm looking forward to that wedding, you guys!

Joelle's senior photos

We had a blast shooting Joelle's senior photos recently. She's an awesome person. We drove all over the area looking for some spring color. Joelle was a natural in front of the camera — and what beautiful hair! Joelle, I hope you enjoy this preview of a few of my favorites, and I can't wait until you get to see them all!

Eye on the models

What a great turnout at the 2008 Bridal Expo and Spring Fashion Show Saturday at Mountain Home. We had several people stop by our booth, many registering to win a free engagement photo session. We will be calling all the winners this week, so, as they used to say, stand by your phones. Now with cell phones we don't have to stand by any longer.
While at the show, I noticed this young man watching while the models made their way down the runway. You can clearly see he was paying attention. Nice shades, dude.

At the bridal show

It's been a while since I've blogged. I know: bad blogger! But, I've been getting things ready for the Mountain Home Bridal Expo this coming Saturday at East Side Baptist Church's former life center. It will be from 10 a.m., to 3 p.m.
Twin Lakes Photography will have a booth at the show and yours truly will be there to greet you. You've got to stop by and check out our slideshow, our new album we're offering and our most popular product, the Bridal Book.
I've posted some images of our sample Bridal Book here along with a couple shots from a 2007 wedding that was held at what I believe to be one of the most gorgeous places to wed in the Ozarks - the historic Zanoni Mill in Ozark County.
So stop by the show and see us. Book your wedding during the show and save $100 on any wedding package.
Wow!

Finally, we have snow

This post may be a little late, as there's barely a hint of the 7 inches of snow we received last week and the temperature right now is 72 degrees, but wasn't it about that temperature 24 hours before our snowstorm? Anyway, my son Bryan and I worked hard building this snowman. He stood up to the heat better than most of our neighbors' snow people. Our secret? We made him a spine out of a water noodle. That way, if he melted at least he wouldn't drown.

Clinton and Ashley

Say hello to Clinton and Ashley. From Morrisville, Mo., this young couple plans to wed on June 7. Yep their wedding date will be 6-7-8.
They drove all the way to Mountain Home for their engagement session recently, and polar bear air kept us mostly in the studio. What a great couple!
I'm looking forward to their wedding in their brand new church and the reception at the Fountain Room at The Landing in Branson. Here's a sneak peek from their engagement session. See you in June, Clinton and Ashley, when the weather will be awesome!

Lindsay, from Indiana

Say hello to Lindsay, a cool northern gal who will be graduating whenever it thaws out in Northern Indiana (if it ever does).
A 2008 senior from Rensselaer, Indiana, Lindsay sizzled in front of the camera on a bone-chilling winter day recently as we strolled around Rensselaer checking out all the cool buildings. If it wasn't surrounded by miles and miles of corn, Rensselaer would be my new home.
Here are a few of my faves. Enjoy!

Tom and Christy

What an awesome wedding! That's all I can say about the recent wedding of Tom and Christy. They were married in a quaint-but-elegant ceremony at Tom's house, with a nice reception beside his swimming pool and a grand reception at the country club. Here are a few playful shots from the evening. Good luck, you two!
